A Wolverhampton pensioner, Paul Lees, has avoided a prison sentence after being involved in transporting a drug dealer around the city. Lees was caught driving a Vauxhall Astra for co-defendant Manpreet Singh, who used the vehicle to sell drugs to local addicts in Wolverhampton.
During the legal proceedings, it was revealed that Lees was compelled to drive Singh and was not acting willingly in the criminal activities. The court took this into consideration, leading to a decision to spare Lees from incarceration.
