More than 2,000 people are expected to attend Off Grid: Chapter One, a brand new festival taking place in the woodlands near Sutton Coldfield this Bank Holiday weekend.
The event will be held on Sunday 30 August 2026 at the NPF Adventure Park woodland site in Bassetts Pole. It features a one-day programme across three stages, delivering 11 hours of music, food, drink, and wellbeing activities.
As the inaugural edition, Off Grid aims to offer a unique experience by blending music with a focus on wellness and disconnection from digital distractions. Attendees are encouraged to switch off their phones and immerse themselves fully in the event’s atmosphere.

Jack Young, co-producer of Off Grid, said: “In less than a week’s time, our beautifully wild woodland site-less than half an hour from Birmingham and minutes from Sutton Coldfield-will play host to some of the biggest names in UK bassline, house, and garage.”
Described as the first festival of its kind in the region, Off Grid prioritises wellbeing alongside entertainment. Collaborating with The Healthy Shop, a curated wellness retailer, the festival will feature a dedicated wellness space offering massage therapy, red light therapy, fresh fruit, and hydration packs to help keep festival-goers energised from start to finish.
“Festivals ask a lot of your body; we wanted to change that from year one,” added Young. “Off Grid is about being present-our collaboration with The Healthy Shop and other partners means everyone will have opportunities to pause, reset, and recharge.”
The festival has also engaged with professionals in the NHS, education, and charity sectors, providing free and discounted tickets to support their participation.
Off Grid is a collaboration between established Birmingham nightlife brands and venues, including DnB Collective, Lab 11, and Rock n Rolla. The line-up boasts notable artists such as Birmingham-born house star Hannah Wants, Ibiza favourite Sam Divine, dance music icon Example, and US garage producer Todd Edwards. Additionally, a secret special guest is yet to be announced.
Located just 12 miles from Birmingham city centre, the NPF Adventure Park is accessible within 30 minutes by car via the A38, traffic permitting. It is also reachable by the 110 bus from Birmingham. Tickets for the event are available through Skiddle.
Looking ahead, organisers plan to expand the wellness offerings with Off Grid: Chapter Two scheduled for 2027. The vision includes creating a full Wellness Village featuring activities such as forest meditation, breathwork, and ice baths, allowing festival-goers to relax between performances.
