Two men have been arrested on suspicion of robbery after an elderly man was assaulted and robbed in Walsall.
The incident took place on Tuesday, 18 August, shortly after 2pm, on Paddock Lane. The 82-year-old victim was travelling on his mobility scooter when he was forcibly pushed from it. During the attack, his wallet, containing £200, was stolen.
West Midlands Police swiftly identified two suspects, aged 48 and 40, who were subsequently arrested on suspicion of robbery. Both men remain in police custody as further enquiries continue.
