Emergency services responded to a distressing scene in Sheffield today after the body of a missing woman was recovered from a frozen pond. The incident occurred at Arbourthorne Pond, a popular local spot, where crews had to cut through thick ice to pull the individual from the frigid water.

Police have identified the recovered body as believed to be that of Eileen, a woman who had been reported missing the previous day.
