The Top 10 Midlands GP Surgeries Praised by Patients

As the 2026 GP Patient Survey results approach, patients’ opinions once again shine a light on the best and worst GP surgeries across the Midlands. The annual national survey captures patients’ experiences and satisfaction with their local healthcare providers, offering valuable insights into how GP surgeries are performing.

Set to be published this summer, the latest results reveal which practices are excelling in patient care and accessibility. Ahead of the official release, we’ve identified the Midlands’ top-rated surgeries based on the most recent feedback.

Patients evaluate their GP surgeries on several factors, including the quality of care provided by doctors, ease of contacting the practice by phone or online, and the overall appointment experience. The survey asks for an overall rating of “very good,” “fairly good,” “fairly poor,” or “very poor.”

Leading the pack is Hampton Surgery in Hampton in Arden, boasting an impressive 98% approval rate—an almost perfect score. Hot on its heels are two inner-city surgeries, Newbridge Surgery in Wolverhampton and Woodland Road Surgery in Northfield, each achieving a remarkable 97% patient approval.

These top-rated practices consistently demonstrate excellence in patient satisfaction, with few complaints and strong community trust. As the upcoming survey results are released, these surgeries will hope to maintain their high standards and continue delivering outstanding care to Midlands residents.
