This evening market provides a distinctive alternative to typical high street shopping, showcasing an exciting array of cards, gifts, jewellery, homeware, food, and more—all crafted by independent Birmingham artists and makers. The marketplace spans the gallery’s ground floor, events room, and café, creating a festive atmosphere enriched by contemporary art surroundings.
A spokesperson from Ikon highlighted that the market is “more than just shopping” — it’s a celebration of local talent and craftsmanship. Returning after successful previous years, the Winter Craft Market offers a vital platform for Birmingham’s vibrant creative community to engage directly with visitors and buyers.
