The Disturbing Discovery Behind a Teen’s Threat to Blow Up Stafford College

Police uncovered alarming evidence after Jagger Strang, an 18-year-old student, threatened to blow up Stafford College. Following reports from the college, officers executed a swift search of Strang’s home, seizing a range of dangerous materials including homemade black powder, gunpowder, thermite, and various chemicals.

Further examination of Strang’s mobile phone revealed disturbing content, such as detailed instructions on bomb-making, remote detonators, and a manifesto. Investigators also found internet searches related to infamous mass killers. Despite these findings, Strang pleaded guilty to seven charges on the morning of his scheduled trial on May 6 at Leicester Crown Court. These charges include possession of explosive substances and making threats to harm peers at the college.

Strang claimed he never intended to actually build a bomb, and prosecutors accepted his pleas, dropping other charges. He remains in custody and is set to be sentenced at Birmingham Crown Court on June 29.
