Tesco Issues Urgent Recall of Burgers Amid Packaging Mix-Up

Tesco has announced an urgent recall of its Heck Minted Lamb Burgers 2 Pack (320g) following a packaging mistake that has caused a potentially serious health risk for customers with milk allergies. The retailer, which operates stores across Birmingham and the UK, revealed that some packs labeled as Minted Lamb Burgers actually contain Heck Steak & Butter Burgers, which include milk ingredients not listed on the packaging.

The affected product carries a “Use By” date of 03/04/26. Tesco has advised that anyone who has purchased this product and has an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constituents should not consume it. Instead, customers are urged to return the product to any Tesco store for a full refund—no receipt is necessary.

Tesco reassures shoppers that no other Heck products sold in their stores are impacted by this recall. The company expressed regret for any inconvenience caused and emphasized customer safety as a priority.
