Tamworth’s Marks & Spencer Unveils Major Car Park Upgrade to Enhance Shopper Experience

Marks & Spencer at Tamworth Ventura Retail Park is set to undergo a significant car park upgrade, designed to relieve congestion and provide more parking options for shoppers. The ambitious 12-week project, starting Wednesday, May 27, promises a complete overhaul of the existing layout to make visits more convenient and efficient.

As part of the improvements, the store will add 32 new standard parking spaces, while accessible bays will receive a substantial boost. Parent-and-child parking will rise from 10 to 18 spaces, and disabled parking will double to 20 spots, addressing long-standing demands from customers.

To tackle weekend queues and improve traffic flow, a new two-way system will be implemented, streamlining both entry and exit points. The work will proceed in three phases to reduce disruption, with temporary closures in parts of the car park beginning on the Foodhall side.

We’ve listened to your feedback, and after many years of planning, work starts this week to improve our car park. We appreciate your patience during this period — it will be worth it for a smoother, easier experience when you visit us!”

The project aims for completion by mid-August. Shoppers are encouraged to allow extra travel time during early construction stages to avoid delays.
