A Tamworth mother has shared a heart-wrenching message after her six-year-old daughter, Sienna, was seriously injured when a motorbike collided with her as she played on her bike.
The incident occurred on Monday, July 13, in Cambrian, Tamworth. Sienna was riding along a cycle path in a park—a place where children should be safe—when a motorbike struck her with such force that it split her bike in half. The young girl sustained devastating, life-changing injuries.
Corey Griffiths, 20, has been charged with multiple offenses including causing serious injury by dangerous driving, failing to stop after the accident, failing to report the accident, driving without third-party insurance, driving without a proper license, and handling stolen goods. A 16-year-old boy arrested alongside Griffiths has been released on conditional bail.

Following the crash, Sienna was placed in a medically induced coma as she begins the long and difficult journey toward recovery. A GoFundMe campaign has raised over £17,000 to support her treatment and rehabilitation.
In an emotional message, Sienna’s mother urged others to think about the risks reckless riders pose to children. “This could happen to any child,” she said. “If nothing changes, it’s only a matter of time before another family faces this nightmare.”
She described the trauma, highlighting that Sienna was once a fearless and active child who loved MMA, trampoline backflips, and bringing joy to those around her. “Her head was partially internally decapitated,” her mother revealed, “and the fact she is still alive is nothing short of a miracle.”
The mother’s plea was clear: “To those who ride motorbikes on cycle paths and parks where children play—you are gambling with lives. You may think you are in control, but your choices can kill.”
She called for urgent action to prevent such tragedies, stressing that no family should endure the pain and shock of seeing their child fight for their life due to someone else’s reckless decisions.
“Sienna is strong and brave, and she fights every day,” her mother said. “Now, we will fight too—not only for her but for every child who deserves to be safe while playing.”
She concluded with a powerful warning: “Please don’t wait for the next child to suffer. This has to stop.”
