Authorities were alerted to the shooting at approximately 2:45 a.m. on Monday, May 25. The victim was found with severe injuries and was rushed to hospital but sadly later died. South Yorkshire Police have yet to formally identify the victim but confirmed that her next of kin have been informed and are receiving support from specially trained officers.
