The discount supermarket chain, which operates branches including in Birmingham, is rolling out its Lidl & Go self-scanning tool in seven additional locations as part of an ongoing trial. Previously tested in select stores, Lidl & Go enables customers to scan items as they shop, monitor their spending and savings live, and finalize purchases quickly via self-checkout terminals—all through the Lidl Plus app.
