According to figures obtained through a Freedom of Information request to West Midlands Police, numerous motorists have been recorded driving at dangerously high speeds between October and the end of April. The most extreme cases included three drivers traveling at over 130mph—the highest speeds documented in this period—while another seven were clocked between 120 and 130mph.
