This warm spell, expected from Saturday, April 6, through Monday, April 8, marks the hottest start to April in six years. Meteorologist Greg Dewhurst from the Met Office describes the conditions as “unusually warm” for this time of year. Normally, early April temperatures hover around 15C (59F), but the upcoming southerly winds and clear skies will push the mercury well above average.
