This adjustment took effect in April, benefiting those born before 6 April 1951 for men, and before 6 April 1953 for women. Eligible state pensioners will see their weekly payments rise from a maximum of £176.45 to £184.90. This increase applies to recipients of the Basic State Pension, which is available to individuals who have accrued sufficient National Insurance qualifying years.
