Frida, who was not yet one year old, ingested grass that had been carelessly piled on the field, leading to a fatal infection. Frida was one of two dogs affected by the contaminated grass. Another dog, Lottie, also fell seriously ill and required emergency surgery to remove a severe infection, believed to have been caused by the same grass piles.
