Councils in Hampshire, including Southampton, Eastleigh, and Fareham, have moved collection times earlier in the day to ensure the safety and wellbeing of their waste collection crews. Residents in Southampton are now asked to place their bins out by 5:30 AM on collection days until further notice. Eastleigh Borough Council has been operating with crews starting at 5:30 AM since July 6, while Fareham has adopted the same schedule.
