Currently, the average diagnosis timeframe for endometriosis in the UK stands at over nine years, stretching to 11 years for individuals from ethnically diverse backgrounds. Dr Anastasia Chalkidou, director of the NICE healthtech programme, highlighted the urgency of this issue.
