Following an injunction granted by the High Court, street racing—also called ‘car cruising’—is banned in Wolverhampton, Sandwell, and Walsall between 3pm and 7am daily until at least March 1, 2027. This injunction prohibits any driver, rider, or passenger in a motor vehicle from gathering in groups of two or more where street racing, motor stunts, or other reckless and obstructive driving is taking place within these council areas.
