On Sunday, April 5, 1987, two men shooting in Coronation Wood near Lichfield discovered a man hanging from a tree. Believed to have died about a week prior, his identity has remained unknown despite extensive investigations by Staffordshire Police.
Now, volunteer investigators from Locate International, a charity dedicated to solving cold cases involving missing and unidentified persons, are partnering with the police to breathe new life into the long-standing mystery.
