Dylan Connolly, a warehouse operative residing in Fordbridge, was stopped by officers on Perch Avenue on April 17, when the offensive weapon was discovered in his pocket. Connolly pleaded guilty to possession of an offensive weapon in a public place at Birmingham Magistrates' Court on May 12. Prosecutor Ms. Robinson highlighted that the knuckleduster, designed solely to cause injury, was seized, and a deprivation order for the weapon was recommended.
