As contractors put the finishing touches on the upgraded road, it’s a good time to share the upcoming phases of this major project. Since early January, New Street has been undergoing extensive work, including the removal of the Frankfurt Christmas Market stalls to make way for an enhanced public space. The transformation will feature top-quality paving, wider footpaths, new safety barriers to guard against hostile vehicles, as well as cycle stands, benches, and dedicated bike parking areas.
