The proposal includes constructing a 108,900 square foot cold storage warehouse, aiming to modernize and significantly increase the site’s storage capacity. The council’s planning committee is scheduled to review the application on June 2. Despite receiving ten objections from local residents concerned about congestion, noise, emissions, light pollution, and parking challenges near residential areas, planners argue the development aligns with the industrial character of the area and will not adversely affect nearby homes when mitigation measures are applied.
