The Blues must notify out-of-contract players about their futures by Saturday, May 16. Notably, Jonathan Panzo is the only senior player at Birmingham City whose contract is expiring this summer. Several other Championship clubs have already confirmed their released players. Charlton Athletic have let go of midfielders Luke Berry and Terry Taylor. Berry, 33, was instrumental in Charlton’s promotion to the Championship in the 2024/25 season and has previously worked with manager Nathan Jones at two clubs.
