Some stores, including one in Heanor, Derbyshire, will now close at 9pm instead of the usual 10pm from Monday to Saturday, with Sundays remaining unchanged. This adjustment is initially a trial but may become permanent. Aldi retailer staff shared updates on social media, highlighting the new closing time effective from 13th July. Out of 1,132 Aldi stores across the UK, the majority close at 10pm, but approximately 48 already close at 9pm.
