Guests of The Lily Pad have shared positive experiences. One guest remarked, “Beautiful cottage, in a wonderful setting and location. Many places to visit in the area. We love to go back one day! Thank you so much.”
Patricia shared her thoughts: “Lily Pad was a great choice. Everything you want in the property. The location was excellent, with great walks and great food nearby. Found it very relaxing. Many thanks to the owner.”
Lucy commented on the location and facilities, “Stunning location with beautiful and peaceful view across the lake. The small children’s playground and football pitch are just a couple of minutes' walk away, which the children really enjoyed. The property is nicely decorated and well equipped with comfortable beds. Timber frame house means it gets incredibly hot upstairs, so fans would be beneficial in warmer months; otherwise, sleep is near impossible.”
One visitor noted a minor disappointment: “Nice view of the lake. Would recommend The Crown nearby for food and drinks, very nice, and Cote Brasserie in Cirencester. There is also a good M&S Simply Food shop there as well. Disappointed there was no welcome pack at the property, which we are normally thrilled with the contents.”
Stephanie praised the accommodation’s cleanliness and hospitality: “Absolutely amazing accommodation, spotlessly clean and had everything you needed. The view from the lodge is stunning. A lovely, peaceful holiday. The owner was always available if you needed to speak with her, extremely helpful and friendly. Would 100% recommend to anyone.”
