The excitement of Strictly Come Dancing continues beyond the TV screen as the Strictly Come Dancing Live Tour makes its way to Birmingham’s Utilita Arena this January. From Friday, January 23 through Sunday, January 25, the arena will host five spectacular shows, giving fans plenty of opportunities to witness the magic live.
This year’s tour features fan favorites from last year’s BBC series, including finalist George Clarke, Lewis Cope, and La Voix, promising an unforgettable night of dazzling performances. For those still hoping to secure tickets, a limited number remain available through the arena’s official partner, AXS, with prices starting at £42.75. The Sunday 6:30 pm show currently offers the best availability, while matinee performances have more limited seats.

The 2026 live tour will showcase a stellar cast of celebrities and their professional dance partners, although notable names like Birmingham footballer Karen Carney and West End star Amber Davies will not be joining this year. As a special highlight, 2023 finalist Layton Williams will return alongside professional partner Nikita Kuzmin in a guest performance, reprising some of their most popular routines.
Joining the live tour are legendary Strictly judges Shirley Ballas, Anton Du Beke, and Craig Revel Horwood. However, Motsi Mabuse will be absent from this year’s lineup. Hosting the event will be former professional dancer and It Takes Two presenter Janette Manrara.
Visitors should note age restrictions at Utilita Arena: children under 14 require adult accompaniment for seated tickets, while those under 14 are not allowed on the standing floor. Ages 14 and 15 can stand only if accompanied by an adult.
Security measures include mandatory bag searches. To expedite entry, attendees are encouraged to avoid bringing bags. If necessary, bags must be no larger than A4 (21cm x 30cm x 19cm) with no more than two compartments. Rucksacks are prohibited.
Parking options are ample, with several car parks at the arena: North and South car parks for general admission, West car park for premium and pre-booked customers, and accessible parking on level nine near entrance G. Pre-booking parking online is recommended at £15, as spaces fill quickly and prices may rise closer to event dates. Nearby alternatives include Q-Park Brindleyplace and Euro Car Parks at Five Ways, both within walking distance.
The arena’s central location provides excellent public transportation options. Easy access is available via Birmingham New Street, Moor Street, Snow Hill, and Five Ways train stations. Numerous bus routes pass the venue, and the closest West Midlands Metro stops are Brindleyplace and Library Centenary Square.
For everyone’s safety and enjoyment, certain items are prohibited inside the arena. Confiscated legal items, excluding food and drink, will be returned after the event, though this may delay entry and exit. Attendees with medical or religious needs should contact Utilita Arena Birmingham prior to their visit.
With electrifying performances and a star-studded cast, Strictly Come Dancing Live at Utilita Arena Birmingham promises to be an unforgettable event for dance enthusiasts this January.
