Red Hot Mamma, a Neapolitan pizzeria in Solihull, has expressed deep distress after suffering repeated vandalism on its summer terrace. The independent, family-run restaurant, which opened on Station Road in November 2024, reported that displays have been deliberately pushed over and plants uprooted or stolen. Shockingly, some individuals have even been seen sitting on planters to “have a casual chat,” causing further damage.
In a heartfelt message on social media, the team behind Red Hot Mamma said they were “honestly speechless” and described the damage as “genuinely heart-breaking.” They emphasised that the displays and plants are not mere decorations but reflect the time, money and care invested by their staff to create a welcoming space for customers.
The restaurant urged the community to appreciate the hard work and passion behind every detail, from the flowers planted to the terrace’s design. They voiced frustration at the need to continually replace and repair items and appealed for respect towards their property and team.
