Solihull Man Convicted of Smuggling 32kg Cannabis into UK in Suitcases After Dubai Trip

Nathan Corfield, a 21-year-old from Solihull, has been found guilty of smuggling 32 kilograms of cannabis into the United Kingdom. The incident occurred as Corfield returned from Dubai on Christmas Eve 2024, carrying the controlled substance inside his suitcases.

Authorities intercepted Corfield upon his arrival, uncovering the substantial quantity of the class B drug concealed among his belongings. The large-scale importation highlights ongoing challenges law enforcement faces in preventing illegal drug trafficking through international travel routes.
