A tragic incident unfolded at the Ricco and Loren bar on Market Street in Lichfield, where a serious assault led to the death of one man and injuries to another. Billy Allison, 36, from Solihull, has been charged with murder and Section 18 grievous bodily harm with intent.
The assault occurred late on Sunday, May 24, around 11:25 pm, when police were called following reports that two men had been attacked. One victim was critically injured and admitted to hospital, where he sadly passed away on Tuesday, May 26. His family is receiving support from specialist officers during this difficult time.
The second victim was also hospitalized but has since been discharged.

Billy Allison was arrested early Monday morning, just after 5 am on May 26. He is scheduled to appear at the North Staffordshire Justice Centre on Wednesday, May 27.
