Starting March 26, Sky customers using Sky Stream, Sky Glass with Sky Ultimate TV, and Sky Q will receive HBO Max Basic with Ads included in their subscription at no extra cost.
NOW subscribers will gain access to a new bundle combining NOW Entertainment with HBO Max (Basic with Ads). Existing NOW Entertainment subscribers will be automatically switched to this combined membership, integrating the Basic with Ads tier into the NOW platform.
Sky also announced a new agreement that will bring the ad-supported version of HBO Max—including premium content—to Sky customers early next year. Popular shows like House of the Dragon, The White Lotus, and The Last of Us will remain available on Sky Atlantic and Sky On Demand through the end of 2025.
The collaboration will expand Sky customers’ access to Warner Bros. Discovery’s vast content library, including HBO and Max Originals, and exclusive upcoming series, including new Harry Potter titles. This will complement Sky’s extensive lineup of Sky Originals, Sky Sports, Sky Cinema, Netflix, Universal, Sony, and Paramount programming.
