Sky is set to raise prices on its TV, broadband, and home phone services starting April 1, impacting millions of customers across the UK. On Wednesday, February 18, the telecom giant confirmed that broadband customers will see a £3 monthly increase, amounting to £36 extra per year. Meanwhile, its ‘Base’ and ‘Premium’ TV packages will rise between £1 and £3 per month, adding £12 to £36 annually. Home phone contracts will also increase by £1 a month.
A Sky spokesperson explained, “These updates will allow us to continue investing in delivering fast broadband, the best entertainment and live sport, and services our customers can rely on, while managing rising costs faced across the industry.”
These adjustments will appear on bills starting with the first one after April 1. Although Sky’s contract terms do not explicitly mention annual price hikes, it has a history of implementing such increases regularly.

If your contract is nearing its end or you only have broadband services with Sky, now could be an ideal time to consider switching. Additionally, upcoming regulations may soon allow customers to change broadband providers promptly and without penalties, making the prospect of switching easier and more appealing.
