Sharon Osbourne Shares Disturbing Messages Received Since Ozzy’s Passing

Sharon Osbourne has revealed that the family of the late Black Sabbath icon Ozzy Osbourne has been contacted by several strangers with bizarre claims following his death in July. Among these was a woman who sent Sharon a package containing a toenail, blood, and hair, convinced she is Ozzy’s undisclosed daughter.

Ozzy, who passed away at 76, was father to three children with Sharon—Aimee, Kelly, and Jack Osbourne—as well as three children from his prior marriage. Speaking on The Osbournes podcast, Kelly Osbourne described how “quite a few nutters” have surfaced, some even claiming to communicate with Ozzy from beyond the grave.

Sharon confirmed the unsettling encounter: “We had one lady send us her toenails.” Kelly added, “She was absolutely convinced that she is dad’s child.”

Ozzy’s first marriage was to Thelma Riley, with whom he had two children, Jessica and Louis, and he adopted her son Elliot. Sharon and Ozzy married in 1982 and remained together until his passing earlier this year.

The legendary rocker’s final public appearance was just two weeks before his death, performing at Aston Villa’s Villa Park stadium in his hometown of Birmingham. Sharon has since begun talks with the football club about hosting another commemorative event at Villa Park, stating, “I’m talking to the Villa again. You know, we’ll see.”

On the podcast, Sharon also recounted how Ozzy suffered a minor fall last December that resulted in a fractured vertebra. He initially kept the injury a secret due to his reluctance to show weakness. Sharon explained, “It was the first week of December and he wasn’t feeling great; he took a little fall and kept saying my back hurts. We left on the 10th and said you can come with everyone a little bit later, he went to the hospital.” Jack Osbourne added, “Backing up a bit, he wasn’t very good at handling pain… but being the gentleman he was, he didn’t tell anyone.”

The family continues to navigate the challenges of mourning while dealing with unexpected claims from outsiders in the weeks since Ozzy Osbourne’s passing.
