Saint Paul’s Market in Birmingham Celebrates First Birthday with £300 Food and Bar Tab Giveaway

Saint Paul’s Market, one of Birmingham’s most popular food halls located in the Jewellery Quarter, is celebrating its first anniversary by offering customers the chance to win a £300 food and bar tab.

Since opening last September, the two-storey venue has become a culinary hotspot featuring some of the city’s best food vendors. Visitors can enjoy a variety of dishes, including the famous massaman from Soi 1268, fried chicken and beignets from Chancer’s, and speciality baos from Tiger Bites Pig.

Other notable vendors include Colbeh, serving Persian meats and small plates cooked over fire; LA-POP, known for customisable gelato ice creams and cheesecake pops; Indian restaurant Zindiya; and Corner Shop, offering Detroit-style pizzas.

To mark the milestone, Saint Paul’s Market will hold a special celebration from 23 to 27 September with live music, DJs, and exclusive limited edition food options. Guests can also enjoy Aperol on tap, Guinness self-serve stations, live football screenings, a Midland Press wine tasting, and unique birthday cocktails.

The competition prize includes a £100 bar tab, a £200 food tab, a round of the new draught Aperol Spritz, and four memberships to the Independent Birmingham app.

To enter the giveaway, participants need to like the promotional social media post and tag the friends they plan to bring to the market. Additional entries can be earned by following @saintpaulsmarket and sharing a personal story.

Winners will be announced one week prior to the event, giving lucky guests the perfect opportunity to enjoy the celebrations and explore the diverse food offerings at Saint Paul’s Market.
