In addition to her criticism of net zero spending, Williams revealed plans to reinstate the National Anthem at council meetings, aiming to reinforce civic pride and unity within the community. Since taking leadership, Councillor Williams has already overseen £109,000 in savings through more efficient budget management and cost-cutting measures. She emphasized the need to focus on financial responsibility and practical governance that better serves the residents of Walsall.
