A recent planning application submitted to Solihull Council proposes converting the former Sydney Mitchell Solicitors’ office into a dental practice. The applicant, Dr. Parekh, has applied for a certificate of lawful development to change the use of the property located at 336 Stratford Road, Shirley.
Although details remain limited, the proposal includes establishing a dental clinic with six treatment rooms, along with the installation of dental chairs and related equipment. The suggested operating hours are Monday to Friday, from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm.
Currently, the application is undergoing validation and will soon enter the public consultation phase, allowing local residents to provide feedback. The final decision will either be made directly by council planning officers or referred to the Solihull planning committee for a public vote.
