Popular Coffee Chain Vyve to Open First Birmingham Bullring Branch

Vyve, the coffee shop that drew crowds when it launched its first branch in Glasgow earlier this year, is set to open its inaugural West Midlands location in the Bullring shopping centre, Birmingham.

Known for its speciality coffee and ceremonial-grade matcha, Vyve will also introduce its popular Brazilian açaí bowls at the Bullring—something shoppers have missed since Oakberry closed last year.

Vyve’s menu emphasizes natural ingredients, offering drinks free from artificial additives and preservatives. Inspired by modern wellness trends and flavors, the brand caters especially to Gen Z and Millennials seeking healthier options without compromising on taste.

Customers can customize their açaí and yoghurt bowls with over 20 toppings, including granola, fresh fruit, agave, and pistachio cream.

Before launching in the Bullring, Vyve plans to open a store at Sheffield’s Meadowhall shopping centre, with further expansions planned in Essex.

Bullring management has confirmed the upcoming opening but has yet to announce a specific launch date or location. Potential sites include vacant units within Grand Central, Link Street, or the Bullring itself.

Visitors have praised Vyve’s Glasgow location for its quality and service. Kevin McMonigle shared: “Great service and fantastic product! This place has been mobbed since opening. Finally tried one and oh my, best açaí bowls in town and a pretty decent iced matcha to go with it! Will definitely be back and bringing friends.”

Luca Buono added: “Best açaí I have had in the UK, would highly recommend if you’re in the area. Very friendly staff and good coffee also.”

Further details on the Birmingham opening will be shared as they become available.
