Police Search Expands for Missing Wolverhampton Mother and Three Children Possibly in London

West Midlands Police have expanded their search for a missing Wolverhampton mother and her three children, who are believed to have travelled as far as 117 miles away from their last known location.

Alimat, aged 31, and her children were last seen on Saturday in the Digbeth area of Birmingham, according to authorities. CCTV footage shows the group walking with at least two suitcases and a pram, which carried the youngest child and appeared to be filled with clothes and coats, as reported by The Mirror.

Following their disappearance, West Midlands Police initially appealed for public assistance on social media, stating: “Have you seen Alimat? The 31-year-old from Wolverhampton is missing along with her three children. They have been missing since 8 August and were last seen in the area of Digbeth in Birmingham. If you see Alimat please call 999 quoting RID 1160387.”

In a subsequent update on Tuesday, 11 August, the police revealed that it is believed the family may have travelled from Birmingham New Street station to London Euston. A police spokesperson said: “We are continuing to ask for your help to locate Alimat who is missing from #Wolverhampton. The 31-year-old, and her three children, were last seen in the city on Saturday before being spotted in #Birmingham city centre the following day. It is understood she may have travelled from New Street station to London Euston. If you can help, please call 999 quoting PID 461858.”

The police are urging anyone with information about the whereabouts of Alimat and her children to come forward as the search continues across a wider area. The safety and well-being of the family remain a priority for the authorities involved in the investigation.
