Police Appeal After Assault During Sedgley Supermarket Robbery

Police are appealing for information after a robbery at a supermarket in Sedgley, during which an employee was assaulted.

The incident occurred at the High Holborn store on 20 August at approximately 9:40pm. During the robbery, a man stole alcohol and a handbag. When a member of staff attempted to intervene, she was attacked by the suspect.

West Midlands Police have released a CCTV image of the man they wish to speak to in connection with the incident. Officers are urging anyone who recognises him or has any information to come forward.
