OnlyFans Star Rebecca Nicholls Reveals AI Photo Led to West Midlands Police Investigation

Rebecca Nicholls, a former West Midlands Police officer, has opened up about how one provocative social media post triggered an internal investigation within the force. After resigning from her role in August last year, Nicholls has since carved out a successful niche online as an OnlyFans content creator.

The 24-year-old, originally from Sutton Coldfield and now residing in the East Midlands, shares unfiltered content on her Instagram page @beccaoffdutyy, featuring photos and videos ranging from scantily clad to police uniform-themed imagery. Despite no longer serving and having returned all official uniform and equipment, some posts still display the West Midlands Police logo.

Nicholls told BirminghamLive: “People love that police officer vibe, don’t they?” However, one AI-generated image—depicting her on the bonnet of a police car—apparently sparked the internal probe. Originally posted on X in January, the image later spread to her Instagram and TikTok accounts.

She claimed a chief inspector, unfamiliar with her, instructed her former team to block and delete her from their social media contacts. This directive came amid an ongoing investigation where police reviewed CCTV footage, attempting to identify her climbing on a police car at West Bromwich police station.

Nicholls remarked wryly, “It was during the Craig Guildford AI scandal, so I was obviously taking the mick because they’d used AI to assess threat risks but couldn’t spot AI when it was right in front of them.”

While the police did not approach her for post removal, the fallout affected her mental health and relationships. “You think you have each other’s backs, like family,” she said, reflecting on the isolation after her colleagues blocked her. Ultimately, she found solace in a close circle of friends.

A West Midlands Police spokesperson confirmed Nicholls resigned following a review of her suitability for the role of constable and emphasized that conduct after leaving the force is not subject to disciplinary procedures. “All uniform and equipment have been returned,” the statement said.

Rebecca’s story highlights the complex intersection between personal expression, professional reputation, and the evolving challenges of policing in the digital age.
