Olivia Rodrigo and Louis Partridge have reportedly parted ways after two years of dating. The young couple, who first became public in 2023, ended their relationship a few weeks ago, sources have revealed.
According to an insider speaking to The Sun’s Bizarre column, those close to the pair were surprised by the news. “They made such a lovely couple, so people who know them were shocked when they heard,” the source shared. “It’s not been the easiest few weeks for them, and they decided it’s better to be apart for now.”
The insider also mentioned that Olivia, 22, appeared emotional while discussing the split at Lily Allen’s high-profile Sexy Santa Christmas party, held at the famous Stringfellows strip club in Covent Garden, London, on the night of December 20, 2025. Friends have reportedly rallied around her during this tough time.

Neither Olivia nor Louis, also 22, has publicly confirmed or denied the break-up.
Reflecting on their relationship earlier, Louis had welcomed the increased attention from dating the “Driver’s License” singer. In a September 2025 interview with Variety, he said, “I’m very happy, and I think she is too, so all is good in our world,” when asked about being known as “Mr. Olivia Rodrigo.”
Their relationship milestones included Olivia visiting London in late 2023 with pianist Conan Gray to celebrate Halloween with Louis. They spent several days together, enjoying dinners, nights out, and a club evening where they appeared very much like a couple.
Louis expressed in March 2024 his wish to keep their romance more private, telling British Vogue, “Dating probably shouldn’t be done in the public eye. There’s enough going on between two people. You don’t need the voices of thousands of others in your head.” He also revealed his strategy to ignore negative online commentary about their relationship.
The couple shared public moments throughout their relationship. In August 2024, they enjoyed a date night during the Venice Film Festival, and Louis confirmed their relationship on Instagram. In the summer of 2025, they attracted media attention at major events such as Glastonbury and Wimbledon, but Louis emphasized their preference for privacy despite the public interest.
Their last known public appearance together was in October 2025 at the Academy Museum Gala in Los Angeles.
