Sales of solar panels have soared by 54%, as homeowners opt to “supersize” their systems—installing 12 panels instead of the traditional 10. Heat pump purchases have surged by 51%, reflecting a strong shift among oil and gas users toward cleaner, more reliable heating alternatives. Electric vehicle (EV) charger sales have also increased by 20% as drivers seek to escape fluctuating fuel prices.
To meet this growing demand, Octopus Energy has introduced a fast-track service that enables oil boiler users to switch to heat pumps in just 10 days—from initial quotation to full installation. This streamlined process helps homeowners secure affordable, long-term energy solutions amid volatile markets.
