NHS staff have just 24 hours left to claim a special Christmas offer from Uber, providing up to £30 worth of free rides and meals on December 25.
As a token of appreciation for healthcare workers’ dedication throughout the festive season, Uber is offering £10 off two rides and an additional £10 off Uber Eats orders to NHS employees.
Andrew Brem, General Manager at Uber UK, expressed gratitude for NHS and healthcare staff: “We are all indebted to the incredible NHS and HSC workers who selflessly care for the nation over the festive season. This initiative is a small way to say thank you for their vital work, both at Christmas and year-round.”

NHS paediatric intensive care nurse Helen Garnett welcomed the gesture, saying, “Getting home from a hospital shift on Christmas Day is always tough. Uber’s offer gives us some extra time to relax and enjoy a good meal.”
To benefit from the offer, NHS staff must link their Uber account with a valid NHS email by 11:59 pm on Sunday, December 21. Eligible users will then receive promo codes via email, which must be redeemed on December 25, 2025.
The £10 off two Uber rides is available for the first 15,000 trips, while the £10 Uber Eats discount applies to the first 30,000 deliveries. This festive gesture aims to brighten the day for those spending Christmas caring for others.
