Stay Stainless, a new jewellery store in Midland, has openly admitted a major misstep just days after its grand opening. The shop, known for its steel rings, chains, bracelets, and more, launched its doors in Stourbridge on Saturday, May 9, with plans to welcome customers from Fridays through Sundays.
However, the business quickly realized it couldn’t sustain the initial three-day schedule. With the owners heavily committed to showcasing their products at summer music festivals like Download Festival and Belgium’s Graspop Metal Meeting, the store will now only be open on Saturdays from 10 am to 4 pm until the festival season concludes.
In a candid social media post, Stay Stainless stated, “We f***ed up. We’ve opened the shop in the middle of the busy festival period, not our smartest move.” They went on to thank customers who attended the opening day and expressed gratitude for the support and kind words received.

Customers unable to visit on Saturdays are encouraged to reach out directly for assistance, and the shop is also seeking potential staff to help manage operations during this hectic time.
Stay Stainless is located at 41 Kinver High Street, Stourbridge, DY7 6HF.
