A new family play centre is set to open in Birmingham city centre, promising a variety of attractions including dodgems, a carousel, and play frames. The popular 360 Play brand, already well-established in the Midlands with venues such as Redditch, will bring its latest location to Broadway Plaza on Ladywood Middleway, near Five Ways.
Designed as a one stop family entertainment destination, the centre will feature an ‘edutainment centre’ alongside its play areas, giving children opportunities to learn and have fun. A café will be available for parents to relax while their children enjoy the activities.
The location offers practical benefits, including a large car park outside Birmingham’s Clean Air Zone, allowing visitors to drive without incurring charges.

Although the precise opening date has yet to be confirmed, 360 Play expects the new centre to open before the end of the year, most likely in December. Prior to the public launch, the venue will host three ‘Golden Ticket’ events to welcome community groups, allowing guests early access to explore and experience the facilities.
Duncan Phillips, founder and managing director of 360 Play, commented on the new venture: “We’re really excited to bring 360 Play to Birmingham. Our centres are designed to give families an exciting, unique place where children can run, play, explore, and use their imagination. It’s all designed for parents to get involved and have fun with them too.”
Memberships will be available from £2.63 per week, encouraging regular visits to the new attraction.
Chris Catford, centre manager at Broadway Plaza, said: “We’re thrilled to welcome 360 Play to the Broadway Plaza family. This fantastic new addition will strengthen our position as one of Birmingham’s leading leisure destinations and broaden our appeal to families from across the city and beyond.”
This will be 360 Play’s seventh venue across the UK, joining others in Leicester, Milton Keynes, and Redditch.
