New Birmingham traffic cameras catch 453 drivers making banned turns with £70 fines

Since their installation at Great Charles Queensway in Birmingham city centre, new traffic enforcement cameras have detected 453 drivers making banned turns. These motorists have been issued penalty charge notices set at £70 each. However, those who settle their fines promptly are eligible for a reduced charge of £35. The introduction of these cameras aims to improve road safety and reduce traffic violations in the busy city centre area.
