UK households can now receive £110 in Cost of Living supermarket vouchers, redeemable at four major retailers: Asda, Morrisons, Sainsbury’s, and Tesco. This support is part of the Household Support Fund (HSF), a grant backed by the Labour Party government and administered by the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP).
Eligible households can apply for one £110 award between 1 April 2025 and 31 March 2026. Cambridgeshire Council has confirmed that voucher payments will be sent by email, with the important note that only Asda vouchers are valid for online use.
The council emphasizes that if you live with a spouse or partner, a joint application must be submitted regardless of whether both partners are applying. Eligibility will be based on the combined household income.

Support payments will be awarded following a thorough eligibility assessment. Applications are handled with strict confidentiality, fairness, and discretion.
To qualify for the support, households must reside in Cambridgeshire and have savings, money, and investments totaling £16,000 or less.
Direct applications to the Household Support Fund will be temporarily closed from midday on Monday, 22 December 2025, reopening on Monday, 5 January 2026.
Please note: only one payment per household will be issued within this funding period. If you have already received an award between 1 April 2025 and 31 March 2026, you should not apply again.
Applicants are required to complete an online form and upload proof of income, such as three months of bank statements or payslips, to verify eligibility.
Due to the high volume of applications, the council asks applicants not to submit duplicates or make inquiries about the status of their application within the standard processing time, as this will not speed up the process.
