New £1 Million City Centre Bar Bonnie Rogues to Open in Birmingham This September

A fresh nightlife hotspot will soon emerge in Birmingham city centre with the opening of Bonnie Rogues on Friday, 25 September. Located at 8 Temple Street in the premises once occupied by Revolucion de Cuba, the bar represents a £1 million investment by its owners to completely revamp the space.

Revolucion de Cuba closed its doors on 25 July, making way for the transformation into Bonnie Rogues - a venue branded as a ‘premium party pub’ designed to bring vibrant energy to the city evenings.

Patrons can expect a lively atmosphere featuring bottomless brunches, karaoke sessions, live sport screenings, and live music six nights a week. The menu will include hearty pub favourites such as classic fish and chips, loaded nachos, stacked burgers and a variety of small plates, catering to diverse tastes throughout the day and late into the night.

On its website, Bonnie Rogues describes itself as a place “with an always-on live and loud atmosphere,” promising customers a venue ideal for casual food and drinks by day and a lively party scene by night. The venue aims to be a reliable destination for a guaranteed good time filled with consistent entertainment and “good craic.”

Bonnie Rogues is not the only anticipated addition to Temple Street’s dining and entertainment scene this autumn. The eagerly awaited steakhouse Flat Iron is scheduled to open nearby on 10 October. Prior to its official launch, Flat Iron will host two soft-opening days on 8 and 9 October offering 50% off food as it prepares to welcome guests.

Flat Iron will offer a two-floor dining experience, accommodating 60 guests downstairs and 50 upstairs, promising a new steakhouse option to complement the busy and vibrant area.

Further updates on both the Bonnie Rogues and Flat Iron openings will be provided in the coming weeks as preparations progress.
