A mother and daughter duo have transformed their lives by shedding a combined total of around 10 stone through a simple but powerful change.
Colette Glenn, 42, had previously tried popular diet trends like juicing, fasting, and calorie counting, but none helped her lose weight effectively.
Everything changed when her 22-year-old daughter, Jade Glenn, noticed a poster advertising a nearby Slimming World group in Kings Heath, Birmingham.

They joined the group in June last year and since then, Jade has dropped from 13st 5lbs to 9st 9lbs, while Colette has gone from 15st 12.5lbs to 10st 11lbs.
Colette’s remarkable progress earned her the title of Slimming World’s Woman of the Year for 2025.
One major factor behind Colette’s success has been her newfound passion for cooking, inspired by Slimming World’s Food Optimising plan. Previously unfamiliar with preparing meals, she now confidently makes healthy dishes for her family.
Meanwhile, Jade complemented her weight loss journey by joining dance classes, making fitness enjoyable.
