Marks & Spencer has announced it will be discontinuing its popular Percy Pig Fizzy Fruit Juice, leaving many fans disappointed. Customers across the UK, including those in Birmingham, have expressed their sadness over the news.
A Percy Pig enthusiast took to Twitter, asking M&S why the fizzy juice had vanished from shelves. The retailer responded, confirming that the product is being phased out due to stock unavailability. Despite this, the fan was able to find limited stock at a local store and shared they had bought the remaining items on clearance to enjoy them for a few more months.
An M&S spokesperson explained that the food retailer is continually refreshing its product range to keep up with trends and customer preferences. While the Percy Pig Fizzy Fruit Juice is being withdrawn, M&S continues to offer over 30 Percy Pig products, including the popular Grape, Apple, and Raspberry Juice Drink, as well as original Percy Pig fruit gums loved by customers.

The spokesperson reassured customers that M&S values shopper feedback and considers it when planning future product ranges.
This announcement comes alongside M&S’s recent £2.1 billion investment to strengthen its commitment to British lamb and beef farming. The retailer has secured two decade-long contracts with suppliers ABP and Dunbia, ensuring a steady supply of British meat for its Foodhalls. Notably, this includes exclusive access to high-quality Wagyu Gold, Aberdeen Angus Gold, and Organic beef ranges.
Aberdeen Angus Gold, introduced last year, prides itself on exceptional quality and high welfare standards, achieved through a science-led breeding programme. Impressively, it has a 40% lower carbon footprint compared to standard beef, aligning with M&S’s sustainability goals.
